2011 Campaign “28”
For a donation of only $28 by all race fans worldwide, we can make unparalleled progress toward our mission and be a leader in the global fight! We need to do our best to unite as many fans and supporters worldwide to help 28 million people living cancer today! Can we count on you?
To continue our efforts in support of our mission and consistent with our motto, we are “Helping Pick up the Pace”! We dedicated the launch of Racing For Cancer in 2010 in honor of Lydia Hunter-Reay, who lost her battle with colon cancer in November 2009. We also launched the Children’s Cancer Fighter of the Race program developed to help give these children a once in a lifetime experience with the great sport of IndyCar Racing. Who knows, one of these children just might come back and race in the series someday…we simply have to help!
We plan to launch new programs to raise awareness for early detection and prevention in 2011. We also desire to launch a “Fans & Family” program to help those in need.
