Racing for Cancer teams up with Bog Dog Tackle for its inaugural “Battle for Cancer” fishing tournament November 11th, 2023

November 9-11, 2023 – Racing for Cancer held its inaugural “Battle for Cancer” fishing tournament in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Racing for Cancer held its inaugural Battle for Cancer event November 11th, 2023 out of Pompano Beach , FL. Teamed up with Big Dog Tackle and its Fishing for Humanity charity, approximately 50 entries participated in this 1-day fishing tournament from Pompano Beach and West Palm Beach marina areas.  A Captain’s party was held at nearby Galuppi’s on November 9th, 2023.  Numerous auction items as well as events shirts and items were for sale all to raise money for the cause. The event raised just over ~$34,000 and very successful.  We want to thank all the sponsors, the team at Big Dog Tackle, and all the people who entered the tournament.  We can’t wait for the 2nd annual event to be held later in 2024.
