Racing for Cancer completes successful 3rd Annual Race to Beat Cancer in Palm Beach, FL with Lucas Oil School of Racing February 2018

Our 3rd annual Race to Beat Cancer event this year was held at Palm Beach International Raceway February 22-23, 2018. Participants joined our 2-day amateur school or 2-day advanced school. Lucas Oil School of Racing, its instructors, and its new fleet of open wheel cars were on hand featuring Ryan Hunter-Reay and James Hinchcliffe as guest instructors. Ryan and James joined the class on-track, gave advice on improving speeds, reviewed telemetry with participants, and even gave “hot laps” in the official Indy500 pace car Ryan won in 2014. Guests enjoyed dinner at Ryan Hunter-Reay’s home one evening and dinner at famous Mar-a- Lago resort one evening. This event makes for a great early Christmas present, a great event to make memories for father-son, father- daughter, or mother-daughter entrants, and a great event to offer for employee award programs and customer trips.

We are already planning the 2018/19 school and will likely head back West to one of two iconic tracks! Schools will likely offer limited availability to maximize track time (only 12-14 amateur and 12-14 advanced slots available). The donation includes racing school fees, fire suit and helmet use, limited insurance, and all meals from a welcome reception the night prior to the school through conclusion, including exclusive dinners and reception with IndyCar hosts. Plan now and come enjoy a once-in- a-lifetime event with the fastest drivers in the world. To secure your 2018/19 spot in this limited availability fundraising event, contact Tom at tom@racingforcancer.org or 636-541- 2271 today!  We have sponsorships available as well for companies wishing to support the global fight against cancer! #beatcancer
