Racing for Cancer Partners with Big Dog Tackle for Upcoming Fishing Tournament

Racing for Cancer is going from the track to the coast to spread the word and raise more money in the fight against cancer! The organization founded by IndyCar winner Ryan Hunter-Reay is partnering with Big Dog Tackle fishing for a 1-Day tournament on November 11, 2023.

This tournament will be the third annual tournament but the first to have Racing for Cancer as a charity recipient. Hunter-Reay is an avid South Florida boater and fisherman himself, and he’ll be out competing against teams to support both Racing for Cancer and Big Dog Tackle. Hunter-Reay might be better known as being the 2014 Indy 500 Champion, 2012 IndyCar Series Champion and a two-time ESPY award winner for best Driver on the World Overall in 2013 and 2014.

Categories for the Big Dog Tackle Battle for Cancer include Junior, Pee-Wee, Mighty Might, and Female Angler prizes.  The tournament is also an SKA – Southern Kingfish Association & Angler Armory Sanctioned Tournament.
